One of the first steps towards becoming informed for your upcoming birth is to begin to ask yourself questions around the birth experience you want to have. Take some time envisioning and feel how you want your birth to be and allow that vision to guide you in preparing yourself for birth.
This can be so helpful in making the next steps into birth preparation such as
- How you want the environment to feel?
- How do you want this birth to feel for you ? intuitive? intimate ?
- Deciding on where you want to birth?
- Who you want to be there or do you want anyone there?
- Comfort measures for labor/ how you want to cope with labor pain?
- What kind of provider do you want ? A midwife? OBGYN ?
These are just some questions I can think of on the top of my head. But as you begin to intentionally sit with yourself and become clear on WHAT. you want your birth to be like, more questions will come up for you.
Listen to yourself and what aligns with you.
Anyways …
In this video I will be sharing with you the importance of knowing you’re WHAT moving forward into your birth. Also sharing my personal experience with not knowing my WHAT for my second birth and how that affected my second birth.
